Blak Markets is proud to be hosting our Festival on Sunday 13 February 2022 on Bare Island, La Perouse.
The program includes a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony with a cultural dance performances with Djiriba Waagura.
There is something for everyone at our Blak Markets. Outside of entertainment, Festival goers can access a range of Blak Markets stalls selling authentic Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts, Bushfood, Crafts and Wears.
Join us for a day of celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture, the oldest continuing Culture in the World. The Blak Markets take place at Bare Island within the Kamay-Botany Bay National Park with the support of Suncorp and Randwick City Council.
The entry fee is $2.50 with children under 5 free.
The Blak Markets is a great chance to buy unique gifts knowing that 100% of the profits are going back into Aboriginal communities.
Festival goers are required to wear a mask inside the Fort and sign in with a QR code.
