Click4Reg Private Plates can reveal that the most pinned luxury car brand is Porsche, with 1,000 boards and over one and a half million pins – 71% more than BMW in second (940,000). Porsche is the 12th most popular brand worldwide according to YouGov, but that doesn’t stop it from being the most pinned!

In second place is BMW, also with 1,000 boards and over 940,000 pins. The German brand, known for its iconic M3 model as well as the M5, was used in movies such as Fast & Furious 6 (2013), showing that the brand has luxury cars fit for blockbuster movies!

Tailing in third is Land Rover, with again another 1,000 boards and almost 800,000 pins. The brand is best known for its 4x4s and premium SUVs, seen in deserts and off-road terrain worldwide. Land Rover’s sub-brand Range Rover is seen in multiple films, most notably James Bond’s A View To A Kill and Casino Royale.

Ranking ninth is Audi, with 951 boards and 468,000 pins. Audi’s 4-ringed logo is instantly-recognisable, with its luxurious RS3 2022 model enjoying a whopping 2,850% search increase right now; and who can forget Tony Stark’s Audi R8 in Iron Man?

In tenth spot, is Chrysler, coming in with 999 boards and over 367,000 pins. Chrysler might not be the first brand in mind when you think of ‘luxury’, however, it has its place in society. Cropping up in films such as Stephen King’s ‘Christine’ and ‘The Blues Brothers’, Chrysler has long been in the public eye, with no plans of slowing down.
